What’s on Press | Harwood Wedding

Harwood WeddingSpring is such a lovely time to get married. The weather begins to warm, flowers begin to awaken after their winter slumber, and love is in the air.

When Beth told me about her and Adam’s spring wedding, I loved the details they wanted to incorporate. Beth loves daisies, so much so that even her engagement ring and wedding dress featured them prominently. She wanted to incorporate florals into their wedding invites along with a palette of ivory, blush, navy, and metallic gold. The florals were illustrated in our studio to pair with an elegant script and serif fonts.

Harwood WeddingThe invite was letterpress printed with navy ink and foil stamped to bring in a bit of metallic gold. The envelopes, rsvp card, and details card all used a very pale blush pink paper to match the bridesmaids dresses and decor. The same navy ink was used on the blush pieces as well.

Congrats to Beth and Adam!

It’s Alive!

┬áMy website is finally up and alive! It’s been a very busy summer and turned into a very busy fall. There are lots of happenings with Iron Leaf Press that are up and coming. I’ve acquired a Kelsey 6 x 10 and a Kingsley foil stamper over the summer, along with some new type and trinkets. The foil stamper worked well for a Halloween project I put together for the Amalgamated Printer’s Association and am finally just getting all the parts for the Kelsey together. Next on the list; Christmas cards!
